Ziemowit Fincek “UTOPIACIDE”

The title of the exhibition may seem ambiguous, incomprehensible, and even somewhat mysterious.
What or who is the “Utopiacide”? An amateur futurologist, a utopia, a drowned man, an alcoholic, a naive optimist, a suicide, or maybe something/someone completely different?

If you gazed at your own life from a distance through a telescope, would the view be satisfying? Or is there a piece missing from the puzzle titled “Me”?

Does man still have time and willingness to ask himself who he really is?

Is the next bus stop called humanity more like a land of happiness without disease, poverty, ugly vegetables, imperfect bodies, and unfavorable BMI?
Or will it be a cabinet of distorting mirrors in an amusement park, located in a labyrinth with no entrance or exit, and the show has no beginning or end?

The subject matter of some of the works is a kind of abstract form of a visual diary, the remaining works still remain open questions, but within them you can find observations on topics such as: human nature, spirituality, technological development, the negative impact of human activity on the natural environment, power and other topics surrounding us every day from all sides.
